I can't believe I hadn't read this book yet, boy was I missing out! This book had so much humor, so much love, and a twist I didn't see coming. So full of life, this book is such a great example of second chances, heartache, love, and growing up and finding ourselves. This book, I just couldn't put it down and I just know I will be rereading it again in the future.

Honestly I don’t understand how this book has bad reviews. It’s a really good and sweet book. This book is centered on second chances. I loved Layla and gray. He was so sweet and forgiving when he shouldn’t have. I think it’s worth the read.

Just not good. Very predictable and boring. After about halfway through i just started skipping through pages and didn’t miss a thing. I NEVER want to just skip all the details but i was soooo bored. Wouldn’t recommend this book.

Although the sample didn’t reel me in, I bought the book since I typically love to read books from this author. I’d read the entire book with hopes that the plot would keep my attention, but it did not and was very predictable. I could leave the book untouched for some time and not rush to come back, it was only when I had nothing else to do that I remembered this book.

First time reading this author. I think she writes well and I liked the story line and characters. However, as in many romance books today, the dirty language put me off and I felt it was unnecessary the many times it was used. Without it, I might have given it four, maybe even five stars. I am hoping that today’s young women expect better than that from men they love and that men respect women more than that. Sometimes less is more.

Truly Terrific

This was a wonderful story about finding a soulmate, losing that person, second chances, and whether one is willing to risk heartbreak again. Layla is a smart, sassy attorney with a penchant for making lists when making big decisions. Gray is a wealthy alpha coming back from a major betrayal. He tends to get what he wants and he wants Layla back. Great characters and a sizzling romance make this a must read.

This is a story of how I fell in love with Vi Keeland’s writing. This is my first time picking up the book by her, usually the protocol here is that my friend Sultan is the guru of all that is Vi Keeland’s releases. Alas, currently she is busy taking care of her newborn… so I had to step it (in reading the book… not raising a newborn lol). This was no ordinary love story, oh noooo, not even close. This is a second chance at love story with all the complications and curveballs that life can throw at you. We meet Layla as she is still struggling to prove herself to her superiors at her law firm after getting into some serious trouble that sent her doing community service at the federal prison. Incidentally that’s where she met Gray, the same man that showed up at her firm flipping her world upside down and demanding to get back into her good graces… among other places. Grayson’s tenacity is unparalleled when it comes to Laylaeven when a major curveball is thrown his way. While he does have his moment where I wanted to knee his junk super hard, thankfully there are wonderful secondary characters who have his and Layla‘s best interests in mind. And by that I mean getting us readers that bittersweet HEA. The Naked Truth, was absolutely a page turner that was full of sweet moments, hot moments, angsty moments, and oh-my-god-why-is-this-happening moments. Now I am off to do some one-click damage for the rest of Vi Keeland’s books… as should you.

I was loving this second chance romance until the plot point/twist in chapter 22. My naked truth is that I loathe that plot twist, but I kept reading. I am glad I did. I enjoyed the main characters of Gray & Layla, & the feels got me in the end.

PERFECT

Perfect- the ONLY way to describe Gray Westbrook. This is the best book I have read to date. Highly recommend this to anyone who likes a good romance story. Once you pick this book up, you won’t put it down until you’ve finished it.

Another GREAT read by Vi Keeland! The Naked Truth was smart, sexy and unique; a storyline like no other with one delicious hero! I really liked the unconventional way that Layla met Gray. What an interesting place to fall in love, lol. I love second chance romances and their story was everything I had hoped it would be. Witty banter, sexy dialogue, and lots of heat! It wouldn't be a Vi Keeland story without an unexpected twist or a heart breaking moment. I enjoyed every minute of it! This is my favorite book of Vi Keeland. What a completely unique story! Every time, I thought I knew what was going on... she throws a curveball in there. Gray and Layla are such great characters. They are confident, honest and sexy. I could feel all of their emotions in this story. The secondary characters will steal your heart. 💚. The Naked Truth is the perfect title for Grayson and Layla’s story; these two characters have been lied to and, in some ways, taken advantage of their entire lives, and while their story begins with the idea that Grayson is just one more person to lie to Layla, I have to admit that I was already in Gray’s corner before he finally got the chance to tell Layla the full truth. It says a lot about the type of man Gray is that he wanted to make amends with Layla as soon as he was released, finding a way to talk to her and providing her an explanation as to why he withheld a significant truth, and while I don’t condone him for trying to lure Layla away from her lawyer boyfriend, it was clear from what little insights Layla provided about her ‘newish’ relationship with Oliver that what she felt for him was nothing like the strong pull that she felt for Grayson, even if she didn’t want to feel it any longer. The flashbacks to Grayson and Layla’s first meeting and how quickly their connection turned to one with overwhelming feelings helped to set the stage for the crazy chemistry between them once Gray reappears in Layla’s life. He’s a tenacious businessman and that drive applies to his personal life as well, which means that Layla really didn’t stand a chance once Gray was released and worked to be given a second chance. The supporting characters in The Naked Truth add so much to the storyline; they help to ease the minds of the hero and heroine…they help to enlighten the main characters when necessary and they prove just who Grayson and Layla are with how much those they love, love them back. But while I appreciated all of the secondary characters; in my opinion, Etta stole the show. She’s an absolute gem of a supporting character; her love for Gray and her perspectives on him help Layla to look beyond the charismatic and dirty talking man and see just how amazing he is, and because Etta loves Gray like a son, she offers both of them advice and meddles a bit as well. The Naked Truth showcases Vi Keeland’s skill at creating likable and interesting characters, and like all of Keeland’s alpha males, she characterizes Gray in a way that illustrates this complex man in all of his selfless and selfish (in purely filthy ways) glory. I love that Gray has an edge to him, but he also has a softer side that is brought out throughout the course of the story as revelations are made and new relationships begin. Is Gray the ‘perfect’ man? Absolutely not, but it’s his flaws that will endear readers to him and have them cheering for a man who more than deserves a second chance with a woman who owns his heart, and although, Gray and Layla both make missteps on this new journey, I never doubted the true nature of the love and commitment even when the wrong choices are made, causing some damage to their newly created connection. I do have to say that I can’t blame Layla for her reactions to a number of overwhelming situations; her past dictates her present romantic relationships, and this is made more than clear with the backstory that Keeland provides readers with when it comes to Layla’s mother and father. Vi Keeland is a great storyteller and the flawed characters she creates easily charm readers, which is exactly what Gray and Layla’s story did to me. 4 Poison Apples

The Naked Truth by Vi Keeland is another phenomenal standalone contemporary romance with a vein of second chances and past mistakes and secrets revealed. Well-written and well-paced, the story of Gray and Layla is powerful, emotional, and hard-earned, for the both of them. Layla has spent the past year working past her last relationship. The man she refuses to admit she loved had lied to her. The relationship was crazy from the get go, what with him being in prison when they met and all but when the new client she has to present for turns out to be a freshly released Grey and he does nothing to hide the fact that he is back to woo her and win her trust back, she is flummoxed and flabbergasted and damning her body to hell because while her head says no way and ehr heart says back off you'll get hurt, her body will not deny the attraction and chemistry they share... Grey made a huge error in judgement when he didn't come clean about his past with Layla. He had his reasons, one being that he didn't want to scare ehr off, he couldn't chase her down while incarcerated, but he also viewed his past as done and over with and wasn't willing to rehash it. Now that he is free to return to his life he has made winning her back his number one priority, one he is fairly successful at until his past comes knocking at the door, with baggage and a huge surprise. Now he not only has to fix what he broke with Layla but convince her all his new issues are something they can handle together. Powerful, emotional, heartwarming AND angst-ridden -Nothing short of the perfection i have come to expect from this author, one of my absolute favorites. Enjoy!

Once again Vi Keeland wove a wickedly awesome story with amazing real characters. Gray and Layla are so special that you’ll love them from your introduction to them. You feel like they are part of your life as the story takes you on a roller coaster of emotions. You will laugh, love, cry, scream, and feel their story. This book I’ll read again and again. Vi has out done herself and I hope she continues to share her talent with all of us.

Breathtaking Romance!

Completely head over heels is what Vi Keeland has made me! What a heartwarming story; and with one of the BEST book boyfriends ever created! This story is so very different from any I’ve read. How Layla and Gray meet is so unique, and I found myself intrigued about how their story would play out. Vi did not disappoint! Adding a twist that caught me completely off guard encouraged me to read faster to find out how it would all unravel. Gray’s life altering circumstances, although very distinct, the emotional aspect was very relatable. I loved this book through and through. You couldn’t help but root for this couple. After taking an unexpected, but very much needed small break from reading, The Naked Truth rehashed my love for reading romance. Vi Keeland is a master of romance. This book is one you definitely want to pick up!

Wow, what an emotional book! I'm not even talking about the book being like an emotional rollercoaster, I'm talking about Vi evoking emotions in me with the words she puts on the page. Vi just writes in a style that really resonates with me. I haven't read a book from Vi that I didn't feel with all of my being. I just really gel with her stories, her characters speak to me in a way that stays with me long after I've finished the book and moved on to something else. Grayson and Layla are no exception. These two characters really settled into my heart right from the get go of this story and there's no sign of them leaving that spot any time soon. The way this couple meet is a unique situation and I loved that Vi didn't roll out the standard cliché of girl meets boy, girl falls in love with boy, only to have him do something stupid that breaks her heart. Yes, Gray did break Layla's heart, and now he's walking into her office as a client that she has no choice but to work with. It was fun watching their first interactions and how Layla struggles with staying professional when it was blatantly obvious that she never got over Gray. I think what endeared me so wholly with Gray is that yes, he can be cocky and arrogant, but he was also selfless, oftentimes to his own detriment. And Layla, she didn't have the best role models when it came to healthy relationships, but she knows what she wants and what she deserves, and Gray was determined to give her everything she had always dreamed of having for herself. Vi throws in some pretty interesting twists in this story, and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to see how everything was going to pan out. I loved several of the secondary characters, one of them being a lovable dog and a beautiful little girl who stole my heart. And Etta!! Lord, I wish I knew an Etta in real life!! What an amazing story, Vi!! I really loved it.

Vi Keeland’s done it again! When I heard the blurb for The Naked Truth I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it!! I fell in love with Layla and Gray’s story! And Grey is so swoon worthy! What I thought was gonna be just a super funny, light read (and let’s not forget sexy- wait until you get to the office scene 😉) turned out to be so much more! I cried a little, I laughed a lot, I felt every emotion with this book!! I just finished and I’m super cheesing! I just love the ending! I give this book 5 Stars all the way!!

Fantastic Book...Layla and Gray are amazing

This book was fantastic. I was on vacation when I started this book so I wasn’t able to read it as quickly as I wanted to. If I had the time, it would have been finished in one sitting. This book hooked me very quickly and didn’t let go. Layla and Grayson were amazing characters. Their connection could be felt coming off the pages and I just adore books like that. The secondary characters were great as well. Especially Etta and Ella. Layla and Grayson both had serious trust issues. Reading about them discovering their abilities to trust one another was beautiful. They were both very mature in their actions and responses to situations that occurred. There was one time Grayson handled something in a manner he thought was best. Even though I didn’t like how he dealt with it, I completely understood his reasoning. I really didn’t want this book to end.

The flashbacks to Grayson and Layla’s first meeting and how quickly their connection turned to one with overwhelming feelings helped to set the stage for the crazy chemistry between them once Gray reappears in Layla’s life. He’s a tenacious businessman and that drive applies to his personal life as well, which means that Layla really didn’t stand a chance once Gray was released and worked to be given a second chance. The supporting characters in The Naked Truth add so much to the storyline; they help to ease the minds of the hero and heroine…they help to enlighten the main characters when necessary and they prove just who Grayson and Layla are with how much those they love, love them back. But while I appreciated all of the secondary characters; in my opinion, Etta stole the show. She’s an absolute gem of a supporting character; her love for Gray and her perspectives on him help Layla to look beyond the charismatic and dirty talking man and see just how amazing he is, and because Etta loves Gray like a son, she offers both of them advice and meddles a bit as well. The Naked Truth showcases Vi Keeland’s skill at creating likable and interesting characters, and like all of Keeland’s alpha males, she characterizes Gray in a way that illustrates this complex man in all of his selfless and selfish (in purely filthy ways) glory. I love that Gray has an edge to him, but he also has a softer side that is brought out throughout the course of the story as revelations are made and new relationships begin. Is Gray the ‘perfect’ man? Absolutely not, but it’s his flaws that will endear readers to him and have them cheering for a man who more than deserves a second chance with a woman who owns his heart, and although, Gray and Layla both make missteps on this new journey, I never doubted the true nature of the love and commitment even when the wrong choices are made, causing some damage to their newly created connection. I do have to say that I can’t blame Layla for her reactions to a number of overwhelming situations; her past dictates her present romantic relationships, and this is made more than clear with the backstory that Keeland provides readers with when it comes to Layla’s mother and father. Vi Keeland is a great storyteller and the flawed characters she creates easily charm readers, which is exactly what Gray and Layla’s story did to me. 4 Poison Apples

The Naked Truth by Vi Keeland is another phenomenal standalone contemporary romance with a vein of second chances and past mistakes and secrets revealed. Well-written and well-paced, the story of Gray and Layla is powerful, emotional, and hard-earned, for the both of them. Layla has spent the past year working past her last relationship. The man she refuses to admit she loved had lied to her. The relationship was crazy from the get go, what with him being in prison when they met and all but when the new client she has to present for turns out to be a freshly released Grey and he does nothing to hide the fact that he is back to woo her and win her trust back, she is flummoxed and flabbergasted and damning her body to hell because while her head says no way and ehr heart says back off you'll get hurt, her body will not deny the attraction and chemistry they share... Grey made a huge error in judgement when he didn't come clean about his past with Layla. He had his reasons, one being that he didn't want to scare ehr off, he couldn't chase her down while incarcerated, but he also viewed his past as done and over with and wasn't willing to rehash it. Now that he is free to return to his life he has made winning her back his number one priority, one he is fairly successful at until his past comes knocking at the door, with baggage and a huge surprise. Now he not only has to fix what he broke with Layla but convince her all his new issues are something they can handle together. Powerful, emotional, heartwarming AND angst-ridden -Nothing short of the perfection i have come to expect from this author, one of my absolute favorites. Enjoy!

Breathtaking Romance!

Completely head over heels is what Vi Keeland has made me! What a heartwarming story; and with one of the BEST book boyfriends ever created! This story is so very different from any I’ve read. How Layla and Gray meet is so unique, and I found myself intrigued about how their story would play out. Vi did not disappoint! Adding a twist that caught me completely off guard encouraged me to read faster to find out how it would all unravel. Gray’s life altering circumstances, although very distinct, the emotional aspect was very relatable. I loved this book through and through. You couldn’t help but root for this couple. After taking an unexpected, but very much needed small break from reading, The Naked Truth rehashed my love for reading romance. Vi Keeland is a master of romance. This book is one you definitely want to pick up!

Wow, what an emotional book! I'm not even talking about the book being like an emotional rollercoaster, I'm talking about Vi evoking emotions in me with the words she puts on the page. Vi just writes in a style that really resonates with me. I haven't read a book from Vi that I didn't feel with all of my being. I just really gel with her stories, her characters speak to me in a way that stays with me long after I've finished the book and moved on to something else. Grayson and Layla are no exception. These two characters really settled into my heart right from the get go of this story and there's no sign of them leaving that spot any time soon. The way this couple meet is a unique situation and I loved that Vi didn't roll out the standard cliché of girl meets boy, girl falls in love with boy, only to have him do something stupid that breaks her heart. Yes, Gray did break Layla's heart, and now he's walking into her office as a client that she has no choice but to work with. It was fun watching their first interactions and how Layla struggles with staying professional when it was blatantly obvious that she never got over Gray. I think what endeared me so wholly with Gray is that yes, he can be cocky and arrogant, but he was also selfless, oftentimes to his own detriment. And Layla, she didn't have the best role models when it came to healthy relationships, but she knows what she wants and what she deserves, and Gray was determined to give her everything she had always dreamed of having for herself. Vi throws in some pretty interesting twists in this story, and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to see how everything was going to pan out. I loved several of the secondary characters, one of them being a lovable dog and a beautiful little girl who stole my heart. And Etta!! Lord, I wish I knew an Etta in real life!! What an amazing story, Vi!! I really loved it.

Fantastic Book...Layla and Gray are amazing

This book was fantastic. I was on vacation when I started this book so I wasn’t able to read it as quickly as I wanted to. If I had the time, it would have been finished in one sitting. This book hooked me very quickly and didn’t let go. Layla and Grayson were amazing characters. Their connection could be felt coming off the pages and I just adore books like that. The secondary characters were great as well. Especially Etta and Ella. Layla and Grayson both had serious trust issues. Reading about them discovering their abilities to trust one another was beautiful. They were both very mature in their actions and responses to situations that occurred. There was one time Grayson handled something in a manner he thought was best. Even though I didn’t like how he dealt with it, I completely understood his reasoning. I really didn’t want this book to end.

This is my favorite Vi Keeland book to date! I love second chance romances, and this one fit the mold perfectly! The reasons they’ve come to know each other are unique and when they meet again the sparks fly even if Layla doesn't want them to, but Gray is determined to make her see what they had, and can have, was worth the wait. I’d read the entire book with hopes that the plot would keep my attention, but it did not and was very predictable. First time reading this author. I think she writes well and I liked the story line and characters. However, as in many romance books today, the dirty language put me off and I felt it was unnecessary the many times it was used. Without it, I might have given it four, maybe even five stars. This is a story of how I fell in love with Vi Keeland’s writing. This is my first time picking up the book by her, usually the protocol here is that my friend Sultan is the guru of all that is Vi Keeland’s releases. Alas, currently she is busy taking care of her newborn… so I had to step it (in reading the book… not raising a newborn lol). This was no ordinary love story, oh noooo, not even close. This is a second chance at love story with all the complications and curveballs that life can throw at you. We meet Layla as she is still struggling to prove herself to her superiors at her law firm after getting into some serious trouble that sent her doing community service at the federal prison. Incidentally that’s where she met Gray, the same man that showed up at her firm flipping her world upside down and demanding to get back into her good graces… among other places. Grayson’s tenacity is unparalleled when it comes to Laylaeven when a major curveball is thrown his way. While he does have his moment where I wanted to knee his junk super hard, thankfully there are wonderful secondary characters who have his and Layla‘s best interests in mind. And by that I mean getting us readers that bittersweet HEA. The Naked Truth, was absolutely a page turner that was full of sweet moments, hot moments, angsty moments, and oh-my-god-why-is-this-happening moments. Now I am off to do some one-click damage for the rest of Vi Keeland’s books… as should you.

The Naked Truth is the perfect title for Grayson and Layla’s story; these two characters have been lied to and, in some ways, taken advantage of their entire lives, and while their story begins with the idea that Grayson is just one more person to lie to Layla, I have to admit that I was already in Gray’s corner before he finally got the chance to tell Layla the full truth. Fantastic Book...Layla and Gray are amazing

This book was fantastic. I was on vacation when I started this book so I wasn’t able to read it as quickly as I wanted to. If I had the time, it would have been finished in one sitting. This book hooked me very quickly and didn’t let go. Layla and Grayson were amazing characters. Their connection could be felt coming off the pages and I just adore books like that. The secondary characters were great as well. Especially Etta and Ella. Layla and Grayson both had serious trust issues. Reading about them discovering their abilities to trust one another was beautiful. They were both very mature in their actions and responses to situations that occurred. There was one time Grayson handled something in a manner he thought was best. Even though I didn’t like how he dealt with it, I completely understood his reasoning. I really didn’t want this book to end.

I’d read the entire book with hopes that the plot would keep my attention, but it did not and was very predictable. First time reading this author. I think she writes well and I liked the story line and characters. However, as in many romance books today, the dirty language put me off and I felt it was unnecessary the many times it was used. Without it, I might have given it four, maybe even five stars. Truly Terrific

This was a wonderful story about finding a soulmate, losing that person, second chances, and whether one is willing to risk heartbreak again. Layla is a smart, sassy attorney with a penchant for making lists when making big decisions. Gray is a wealthy alpha coming back from a major betrayal. This is a story of how I fell in love with Vi Keeland’s writing. This is my first time picking up the book by her, usually the protocol here is that my friend Sultan is the guru of all that is Vi Keeland’s releases. Alas, currently she is busy taking care of her newborn… so I had to step it (in reading the book… not raising a newborn lol). This was no ordinary love story, oh noooo, not even close. This is a second chance at love story with all the complications and curveballs that life can throw at you. We meet Layla as she is still struggling to prove herself to her superiors at her law firm after getting into some serious trouble that sent her doing community service at the federal prison. Incidentally that’s where she met Gray, the same man that showed up at her firm flipping her world upside down and demanding to get back into her good graces… among other places. Grayson’s tenacity is unparalleled when it comes to Laylaeven when a major curveball is thrown his way. While he does have his moment where I wanted to knee his junk super hard, thankfully there are wonderful secondary characters who have his and Layla‘s best interests in mind. And by that I mean getting us readers that bittersweet HEA. The Naked Truth, was absolutely a page turner that was full of sweet moments, hot moments, angsty moments, and oh-my-god-why-is-this-happening moments. Now I am off to do some one-click damage for the rest of Vi Keeland’s books… as should you.

The Naked Truth is the perfect title for Grayson and Layla’s story; these two characters have been lied to and, in some ways, taken advantage of their entire lives, and while their story begins with the idea that Grayson is just one more person to lie to Layla, I have to admit that I was already in Gray’s corner before he finally got the chance to tell Layla the full truth. It says a lot about the type of man Gray is that he wanted to make amends with Layla as soon as he was released, finding a way to talk to her and providing her an explanation as to why he withheld a significant truth, and while I don’t condone him for trying to lure Layla away from her lawyer boyfriend, it was clear from what little insights Layla provided about her ‘newish’ relationship with Oliver that what she felt for him was nothing like the strong pull that she felt for Grayson, even if she didn’t want to feel it any longer. The flashbacks to Grayson and Layla’s first meeting and how quickly their connection turned to one with overwhelming feelings helped to set the stage for the crazy chemistry between them once Gray reappears in Layla’s life. He’s a tenacious businessman and that drive applies to his personal life as well, which means that Layla really didn’t stand a chance once Gray was released and worked to be given a second chance. The supporting characters in The Naked Truth add so much to the storyline; they help to ease the minds of the hero and heroine…they help to enlighten the main characters when necessary and they prove just who Grayson and Layla are with how much those they love, love them back. But while I appreciated all of the secondary characters; in my opinion, Etta stole the show. She’s an absolute gem of a supporting character; her love for Gray and her perspectives on him help Layla to look beyond the charismatic and dirty talking man and see just how amazing he is, and because Etta loves Gray like a son, she offers both of them advice and meddles a bit as well. The Naked Truth showcases Vi Keeland’s skill at creating likable and interesting characters, and like all of Keeland’s alpha males, she characterizes Gray in a way that illustrates this complex man in all of his selfless and selfish (in purely filthy ways) glory. I love that Gray has an edge to him, but he also has a softer side that is brought out throughout the course of the story as revelations are made and new relationships begin. Is Gray the ‘perfect’ man? Absolutely not, but it’s his flaws that will endear readers to him and have them cheering for a man who more than deserves a second chance with a woman who owns his heart, and although, Gray and Layla both make missteps on this new journey, I never doubted the true nature of the love and commitment even when the wrong choices are made, causing some damage to their newly created connection. I do have to say that I can’t blame Layla for her reactions to a number of overwhelming situations; her past dictates her present romantic relationships, and this is made more than clear with the backstory that Keeland provides readers with when it comes to Layla’s mother and father. Vi Keeland is a great storyteller and the flawed characters she creates easily charm readers, which is exactly what Gray and Layla’s story did to me. 4 Poison Apples

The Naked Truth by Vi Keeland is another phenomenal standalone contemporary romance with a vein of second chances and past mistakes and secrets revealed. Well-written and well-paced, the story of Gray and Layla is powerful, emotional, and hard-earned, for the both of them. Layla has spent the past year working past her last relationship. The man she refuses to admit she loved had lied to her. The relationship was crazy from the get go, what with him being in prison when they met and all but when the new client she has to present for turns out to be a freshly released Grey and he does nothing to hide the fact that he is back to woo her and win her trust back, she is flummoxed and flabbergasted and damning her body to hell because while her head says no way and ehr heart says back off you'll get hurt, her body will not deny the attraction and chemistry they share... Grey made a huge error in judgement when he didn't come clean about his past with Layla. He had his reasons, one being that he didn't want to scare ehr off, he couldn't chase her down while incarcerated, but he also viewed his past as done and over with and wasn't willing to rehash it. Now that he is free to return to his life he has made winning her back his number one priority, one he is fairly successful at until his past comes knocking at the door, with baggage and a huge surprise. Now he not only has to fix what he broke with Layla but convince her all his new issues are something they can handle together. Powerful, emotional, heartwarming AND angst-ridden -Nothing short of the perfection i have come to expect from this author, one of my absolute favorites. Enjoy!

Breathtaking Romance!

Completely head over heels is what Vi Keeland has made me! What a heartwarming story; and with one of the BEST book boyfriends ever created! This story is so very different from any I’ve read. How Layla and Gray meet is so unique, and I found myself intrigued about how their story would play out. Vi did not disappoint! Adding a twist that caught me completely off guard encouraged me to read faster to find out how it would all unravel. Gray’s life altering circumstances, although very distinct, the emotional aspect was very relatable. I loved this book through and through. You couldn’t help but root for this couple. After taking an unexpected, but very much needed small break from reading, The Naked Truth rehashed my love for reading romance. Vi Keeland is a master of romance. This book is one you definitely want to pick up!

Wow, what an emotional book! I'm not even talking about the book being like an emotional rollercoaster, I'm talking about Vi evoking emotions in me with the words she puts on the page. Vi just writes in a style that really resonates with me. I haven't read a book from Vi that I didn't feel with all of my being. I just really gel with her stories, her characters speak to me in a way that stays with me long after I've finished the book and moved on to something else. Grayson and Layla are no exception. These two characters really settled into my heart right from the get go of this story and there's no sign of them leaving that spot any time soon. The way this couple meet is a unique situation and I loved that Vi didn't roll out the standard cliché of girl meets boy, girl falls in love with boy, only to have him do something stupid that breaks her heart. Yes, Gray did break Layla's heart, and now he's walking into her office as a client that she has no choice but to work with. It was fun watching their first interactions and how Layla struggles with staying professional when it was blatantly obvious that she never got over Gray. I think what endeared me so wholly with Gray is that yes, he can be cocky and arrogant, but he was also selfless, oftentimes to his own detriment. And Layla, she didn't have the best role models when it came to healthy relationships, but she knows what she wants and what she deserves, and Gray was determined to give her everything she had always dreamed of having for herself. Vi throws in some pretty interesting twists in this story, and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to see how everything was going to pan out. I loved several of the secondary characters, one of them being a lovable dog and a beautiful little girl who stole my heart. And Etta!! Lord, I wish I knew an Etta in real life!! What an amazing story, Vi!! I really loved it.

This is a story of how I fell in love with Vi Keeland’s writing. This is my first time picking up the book by her, usually the protocol here is that my friend Sultan is the guru of all that is Vi Keeland’s releases. Alas, currently she is busy taking care of her newborn… so I had to step it (in reading the book… not raising a newborn lol). This was no ordinary love story, oh noooo, not even close. This is a second chance at love story with all the complications and curveballs that life can throw at you. We meet Layla as she is still struggling to prove herself to her superiors at her law firm after getting into some serious trouble that sent her doing community service at the federal prison. Incidentally that’s where she met Gray, the same man that showed up at her firm flipping her world upside down and demanding to get back into her good graces… among other places. Grayson’s tenacity is unparalleled when it comes to Laylaeven when a major curveball is thrown his way. While he does have his moment where I wanted to knee his junk super hard, thankfully there are wonderful secondary characters who have his and Layla‘s best interests in mind. And by that I mean getting us readers that bittersweet HEA. The Naked Truth, was absolutely a page turner that was full of sweet moments, hot moments, angsty moments, and oh-my-god-why-is-this-happening moments. Now I am off to do some one-click damage for the rest of Vi Keeland’s books… as should you.

I was loving this second chance romance until the plot point/twist in chapter 22. My naked truth is that I loathe that plot twist, but I kept reading. I am glad I did. I enjoyed the main characters of Gray & Layla, & the feels got me in the end.

Another GREAT read by Vi Keeland! The Naked Truth was smart, sexy and unique; a storyline like no other with one delicious hero! I really liked the unconventional way that Layla met Gray. What an interesting place to fall in love, lol. I love second chance romances and their story was everything I had hoped it would be. Witty banter, sexy dialogue, and lots of heat! It wouldn't be a Vi Keeland story without an unexpected twist or a heart breaking moment. I enjoyed every minute of it! The Naked Truth is the perfect title for Grayson and Layla’s story; these two characters have been lied to and, in some ways, taken advantage of their entire lives, and while their story begins with the idea that Grayson is just one more person to lie to Layla, I have to admit that I was already in Gray’s corner before he finally got the chance to tell Layla the full truth. It says a lot about the type of man Gray is that he wanted to make amends with Layla as soon as he was released, finding a way to talk to her and providing her an explanation as to why he withheld a significant truth, and while I don’t condone him for trying to lure Layla away from her lawyer boyfriend, it was clear from what little insights Layla provided about her ‘newish’ relationship with Oliver that what she felt for him was nothing like the strong pull that she felt for Grayson, even if she didn’t want to feel it any longer. The flashbacks to Grayson and Layla’s first meeting and how quickly their connection turned to one with overwhelming feelings helped to set the stage for the crazy chemistry between them once Gray reappears in Layla’s life. He’s a tenacious businessman and that drive applies to his personal life as well, which means that Layla really didn’t stand a chance once Gray was released and worked to be given a second chance. The supporting characters in The Naked Truth add so much to the storyline; they help to ease the minds of the hero and heroine…they help to enlighten the main characters when necessary and they prove just who Grayson and Layla are with how much those they love, love them back. But while I appreciated all of the secondary characters; in my opinion, Etta stole the show. She’s an absolute gem of a supporting character; her love for Gray and her perspectives on him help Layla to look beyond the charismatic and dirty talking man and see just how amazing he is, and because Etta loves Gray like a son, she offers both of them advice and meddles a bit as well. The Naked Truth showcases Vi Keeland’s skill at creating likable and interesting characters, and like all of Keeland’s alpha males, she characterizes Gray in a way that illustrates this complex man in all of his selfless and selfish (in purely filthy ways) glory. I love that Gray has an edge to him, but he also has a softer side that is brought out throughout the course of the story as revelations are made and new relationships begin. Is Gray the ‘perfect’ man? Absolutely not, but it’s his flaws that will endear readers to him and have them cheering for a man who more than deserves a second chance with a woman who owns his heart, and although, Gray and Layla both make missteps on this new journey, I never doubted the true nature of the love and commitment even when the wrong choices are made, causing some damage to their newly created connection. I do have to say that I can’t blame Layla for her reactions to a number of overwhelming situations; her past dictates her present romantic relationships, and this is made more than clear with the backstory that Keeland provides readers with when it comes to Layla’s mother and father. Vi Keeland is a great storyteller and the flawed characters she creates easily charm readers, which is exactly what Gray and Layla’s story did to me. 4 Poison Apples

The Naked Truth by Vi Keeland is another phenomenal standalone contemporary romance with a vein of second chances and past mistakes and secrets revealed. Well-written and well-paced, the story of Gray and Layla is powerful, emotional, and hard-earned, for the both of them. Layla has spent the past year working past her last relationship. The man she refuses to admit she loved had lied to her. The relationship was crazy from the get go, what with him being in prison when they met and all but when the new client she has to present for turns out to be a freshly released Grey and he does nothing to hide the fact that he is back to woo her and win her trust back, she is flummoxed and flabbergasted and damning her body to hell because while her head says no way and ehr heart says back off you'll get hurt, her body will not deny the attraction and chemistry they share... Grey made a huge error in judgement when he didn't come clean about his past with Layla. He had his reasons, one being that he didn't want to scare ehr off, he couldn't chase her down while incarcerated, but he also viewed his past as done and over with and wasn't willing to rehash it. Now that he is free to return to his life he has made winning her back his number one priority, one he is fairly successful at until his past comes knocking at the door, with baggage and a huge surprise. Now he not only has to fix what he broke with Layla but convince her all his new issues are something they can handle together. Powerful, emotional, heartwarming AND angst-ridden -Nothing short of the perfection i have come to expect from this author, one of my absolute favorites. Enjoy!

You feel like they are part of your life as the story takes you on a roller coaster of emotions. You will laugh, love, cry, scream, and feel their story. This book I’ll read again and again. Vi has out done herself and I hope she continues to share her talent with all of us.

Breathtaking Romance!

Completely head over heels is what Vi Keeland has made me! What a heartwarming story; and with one of the BEST book boyfriends ever created! This story is so very different from any I’ve read. How Layla and Gray meet is so unique, and I found myself intrigued about how their story would play out. Vi did not disappoint! Adding a twist that caught me completely off guard encouraged me to read faster to find out how it would all unravel. Gray’s life altering circumstances, although very distinct, the emotional aspect was very relatable. I loved this book through and through. You couldn’t help but root for this couple. After taking an unexpected, but very much needed small break from reading, The Naked Truth rehashed my love for reading romance. Vi Keeland is a master of romance. This book is one you definitely want to pick up!

Wow, what an emotional book! I'm not even talking about the book being like an emotional rollercoaster, I'm talking about Vi evoking emotions in me with the words she puts on the page. Vi just writes in a style that really resonates with me. I haven't read a book from Vi that I didn't feel with all of my being. I just really gel with her stories, her characters speak to me in a way that stays with me long after I've finished the book and moved on to something else. Grayson and Layla are no exception. These two characters really settled into my heart right from the get go of this story and there's no sign of them leaving that spot any time soon. The way this couple meet is a unique situation and I loved that Vi didn't roll out the standard cliché of girl meets boy, girl falls in love with boy, only to have him do something stupid that breaks her heart. Yes, Gray did break Layla's heart, and now he's walking into her office as a client that she has no choice but to work with. It was fun watching their first interactions and how Layla struggles with staying professional when it was blatantly obvious that she never got over Gray. I think what endeared me so wholly with Gray is that yes, he can be cocky and arrogant, but he was also selfless, oftentimes to his own detriment. And Layla, she didn't have the best role models when it came to healthy relationships, but she knows what she wants and what she deserves, and Gray was determined to give her everything she had always dreamed of having for herself. Vi throws in some pretty interesting twists in this story, and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to see how everything was going to pan out. I loved several of the secondary characters, one of them being a lovable dog and a beautiful little girl who stole my heart. And Etta!! Lord, I wish I knew an Etta in real life!! What an amazing story, Vi!! I really loved it.

Vi Keeland’s done it again! When I heard the blurb for The Naked Truth I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it!! I fell in love with Layla and Gray’s story! And Grey is so swoon worthy! What I thought was gonna be just a super funny, light read (and let’s not forget sexy- wait until you get to the office scene 😉) turned out to be so much more! I cried a little, I laughed a lot, I felt every emotion with this book!! I just finished and I’m super cheesing! I just love the ending! I give this book 5 Stars all the way!!

Fantastic Book...Layla and Gray are amazing

This book was fantastic. I was on vacation when I started this book so I wasn’t able to read it as quickly as I wanted to. If I had the time, it would have been finished in one sitting. This book hooked me very quickly and didn’t let go. Layla and Grayson were amazing characters. Their connection could be felt coming off the pages and I just adore books like that. The secondary characters were great as well. Especially Etta and Ella. Layla and Grayson both had serious trust issues. Reading about them discovering their abilities to trust one another was beautiful. They were both very mature in their actions and responses to situations that occurred. There was one time Grayson handled something in a manner he thought was best. Even though I didn’t like how he dealt with it, I completely understood his reasoning. I really didn’t want this book to end.

Although the sample didn’t reel me in, I bought the book since I typically love to read books from this author. I’d read the entire book with hopes that the plot would keep my attention, but it did not and was very predictable. I could leave the book untouched for some time and not rush to come back, it was only when I had nothing else to do that I remembered this book.

First time reading this author. I think she writes well and I liked the story line and characters. However, as in many romance books today, the dirty language put me off and I felt it was unnecessary the many times it was used. Without it, I might have given it four, maybe even five stars. The Naked Truth

Once again Vi Keeland wove a wickedly awesome story with amazing real characters. Gray and Layla are so special that you’ll love them from your introduction to them. You feel like they are part of your life as the story takes you on a roller coaster of emotions. You will laugh, love, cry, scream, and feel their story. This book I’ll read again and again. Vi has out done herself and I hope she continues to share her talent with all of us.

Breathtaking Romance!

Completely head over heels is what Vi Keeland has made me! What a heartwarming story; and with one of the BEST book boyfriends ever created! This story is so very different from any I’ve read. How Layla and Gray meet is so unique, and I found myself intrigued about how their story would play out. Vi did not disappoint! Adding a twist that caught me completely off guard encouraged me to read faster to find out how it would all unravel. Gray’s life altering circumstances, although very distinct, the emotional aspect was very relatable. I loved this book through and through. You couldn’t help but root for this couple. After taking an unexpected, but very much needed small break from reading, The Naked Truth rehashed my love for reading romance. Vi Keeland is a master of romance. This book is one you definitely want to pick up!

The naked truth is I love this book!

Wow, what an emotional book! I'm not even talking about the book being like an emotional rollercoaster, I'm talking about Vi evoking emotions in me with the words she puts on the page. Vi just writes in a style that really resonates with me. I haven't read a book from Vi that I didn't feel with all of my being. I just really gel with her stories, her characters speak to me in a way that stays with me long after I've finished the book and moved on to something else. Grayson and Layla are no exception. These two characters really settled into my heart right from the get go of this story and there's no sign of them leaving that spot any time soon. The way this couple meet is a unique situation and I loved that Vi didn't roll out the standard cliché of girl meets boy, girl falls in love with boy, only to have him do something stupid that breaks her heart. Yes, Gray did break Layla's heart, and now he's walking into her office as a client that she has no choice but to work with. It was fun watching their first interactions and how Layla struggles with staying professional when it was blatantly obvious that she never got over Gray. I think what endeared me so wholly with Gray is that yes, he can be cocky and arrogant, but he was also selfless, oftentimes to his own detriment. And Layla, she didn't have the best role models when it came to healthy relationships, but she knows what she wants and what she deserves, and Gray was determined to give her everything she had always dreamed of having for herself. Vi throws in some pretty interesting twists in this story, and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to see how everything was going to pan out. I loved several of the secondary characters, one of them being a lovable dog and a beautiful little girl who stole my heart. And Etta!! Lord, I wish I knew an Etta in real life!! What an amazing story, Vi!! I really loved it.

Vi Keeland’s done it again! When I heard the blurb for The Naked Truth I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it!! I fell in love with Layla and Gray’s story! And Grey is so swoon worthy! What I thought was gonna be just a super funny, light read (and let’s not forget sexy- wait until you get to the office scene 😉) turned out to be so much more! I cried a little, I laughed a lot, I felt every emotion with this book!! I just finished and I’m super cheesing! I just love the ending! I give this book 5 Stars all the way!!

Fantastic Book...Layla and Gray are amazing

This book was fantastic. I was on vacation when I started this book so I wasn’t able to read it as quickly as I wanted to. If I had the time, it would have been finished in one sitting. This book hooked me very quickly and didn’t let go. Layla and Grayson were amazing characters. Their connection could be felt coming off the pages and I just adore books like that. The secondary characters were great as well. Especially Etta and Ella. Layla and Grayson both had serious trust issues. Reading about them discovering their abilities to trust one another was beautiful. They were both very mature in their actions and responses to situations that occurred. There was one time Grayson handled something in a manner he thought was best. Even though I didn’t like how he dealt with it, I completely understood his reasoning. I really didn’t want this book to end.

Do not pass up this book!!

This is my favorite Vi Keeland book to date! I love second chance romances, and this one fit the mold perfectly! The reasons they’ve come to know each other are unique and when they meet again the sparks fly even if Layla doesn't want them to, but Gray is determined to make her see what they had, and can have, was worth the wait. The Naked Truth is smart and funny, witty and charming, and an all around great read!

OMG!!! This book was amazing. I loved Gray and Layla. There was so much chemistry between these two. It was hot and sexy and romantic. Just everything I love in a book. Vi has outdone herself again. She has a way of pulling you into a book and making you feel like you’re right there with the characters. Love it! I can’t wait to see what she cooks up next! ❤️ Definitely a must read!!!

OMGosh! I can’t even begin to express my love for Gray! He’s sweet, he’s sexy, and such a dirty talker too! All the things that make you tingle and sigh p, wishing he was for real and could possible be yours. That’s the one good thing about book boyfriends, they make you swoon, and you can pretend they are all yours! And Gray is definitely one of my new top book boyfriends!! ****“We’re not going to happen, Gray.” A slow smile stretched across his handsome face. “Yes, we are. You can fight it all you want.” He leaned his face to mine. Our noses were practically touching. My body tingled feeling his hot breath on my skin. “In fact, I want you to fight it. Fight it tooth and nail. It will make it that much better for both of us when you finally give in.” Oh, such a charmer he is! And ladies... that limousine scene... 🔥 🔥. And several more just like it. Their first kiss.... gah! When the sexual chemistry is just too much to bear, the sparks fly when they finally give in. They explode and you can feel the heat radiating off the pages. Layla and Gray are the perfect couple! Their banter is hilarious. And steamy too! They just have a natural, no BS, attitude and it draws you in. From the very beginning, you can see the intense attraction between these two despite their circumstances and how they met. And Etta, she is a pistol! I love her. She really cracks me... just wait till you hear the Zippy story! You’ll laugh and fall for this feisty old lady! She’s definitely one of my favorite characters (besides Gray and Layla of course!) Vi has knocked it out of the park with this one. You DEFINITELY need Gray in your life! I swear he’s worth it!

A must read! You need to meet Gray!

A fantastic second chance read! I was completely enamored with Gray! Totally swoon worthy, arrogant, sexy and alpha hot! Hooked from the beginning and didn’t want to put it down until the end. Did not want this one to end! Chemistry is off the charts and their banter/connection is everything. I highly recommend this book! A must read.
